Tokyo Tower Twilight (Vertical)
There are probably more angles you can shoot of Tokyo tower than there are grains of sand in the world. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but only because I'll never forget the anxiety of filtering through all the options I had morning, noon and night. The tower's burns like an urban lighthouse framing many scenes, and I still lament the ones I missed. I will be back some day to shoot it from Roppongi. IYKYK. If I sound ungrateful, it's only because I am so happy with the shots I did shoot, and I am inspired for more.
Here we have Tokyo Tower illuminating the night, the sole point of focus as the city blends into darkness and shadow surrounding it. Just enough detail to frame and provide scale. I love the simple framing of this shot. It doesn't need more than it has. It doesn't need an abundance of elements or movement, or dramatic clouds. It's all about the subject.
The iconic skyline view captures the essence of Tokyo's vibrant nightlife and architectural diversity and is the perfect print for those craving a moody scene with a warm heart.
