My first intentional series since moving back to Miami has me exploring the immaculately preserved Art Deco architecture of Miami Beach. Miami doesn't like holding on to its history. It's a city where "new" is always the next best thing and "I'll let you know" is code for "I can't commit cuz my homeboy might hook it up at -insert club here-). So I want to capture the old charm before the developers or the ocean wash it away. The timeless nostalgia is in full bloom in front of the Sherbrooke Hotel on Collin's Avenue as a Vintage Lincoln Continental zips through the foreground. The perfect print for anyone fond of that 1980s Miami Vice aesthetic, vintage architecture, and sunny days.
