Sin City
The famous view of the Las Vegas strip with the Bellagio fountain in full bloom and a variety of notable landmarks and attractions. This fine art photography print captures the essence of neon lights in Sin City as the background fades into desert and twilight skies. I took this shot during a cross-country drive while moving from Miami to Los Angeles.
That trip was a revelation for me. I had spent most of my life up until that point living in culturally diverse South Florida, and even when I did travel, it was often to other major metropolitan areas like LA or New York. I had never really gotten a taste of rural middle America until I drove through it and saw it for myself. Without getting too lost in the weeds of politics, I'll just say that that experience showed me that there really are "two Americas." And creating this image was a much-needed creating outlet for me to process it all from the comfort of once of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in.
